VT Trader 2.0.23.12 Build 2009120900
* This release includes all items from the 2.0.23.4 and 2.0.23.5 "download only" previous VT Trader releases.
- VT Trader now supports "micro" lots trading; NOTE: Your broker must offer accounts specifically for "micro" lot trading sizes; please contact a sales representative at your broker for additional information.
- VT Trader has implemented a new “instruments selection” feature; This feature allows you to selectively choose which instruments you want to receive price updates (streaming quotes) for within VT Trader. This helps your reduce used bandwidth and processing (CPU/RAM) resources as well as to “de-clutter” your VT Trader workspace by removing those instruments you are not interested in. You can access the “Instruments Subscription” window using the Ribbon>Environment menu>Options group>Options command>Instruments Selection link. The instruments are currently divided into 3 categories: Major, Minor, and Exotic. You can enable/disable entire categories or selectively disable/enable each individual instrument. Disabled instruments will not be shown anywhere in VT Trader; you will not see their panels in the Quotes Board window or Advanced Rates window, you will not be able to submit, manage, or close/remove positions or orders in disabled instruments, and you will not be able to open new charts for disabled instruments. However, you can re-enable any disabled instrument(s) whenever necessary.
- Chart window’s High/Low Zone settings have become part of the Chart Properties and Chart Template Properties; it is now possible to set default High/Low Zone values for each chart interval independently from a central location and also have those settings maintained when switching chart intervals within the same chart window or applied across several charts via the Chart Template functionality
- Chart window>contextual menu>Attached Trading Systems window>Add button now opens the “Add Trading System” window instead of a small dialog window that only showed the Quick List items
- Chart window>contextual menu>Attached Indicators window>Add button now opens the “Add Indicator” window instead of a small dialog window that only showed the Quick List items
- Amt(K) column in Instruments Exposure window has been renamed to “Amt” and now shows/calculates actual amount of currency units instead of showing the amount in 1,000 unit blocks; For example, 1.0 lot trade in EUR/USD now shows a value of 100,000 in this column; I.E. 1.0 lot = 100,000.00 units, 0.1 lot = 10,000.00 units, etc.
- Contextual menus have been disabled for the “Forex Resources”-related windows
- “Quality of Service” logging improved
- The URL for the Japanese localization’s video tutorials has been updated
