Current Release Notes - VT Trader 1.9.3

ATTENTION WINDOWS VISTA USERS

Before attempting to upgrade to VT Trader 1.9.3 you must disable the “User Access Control” (UAC) feature for the active user account to ensure the proper completion of the upgrade. You can do this by following the breadcrumb trail below:

Start Menu -> Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Turn User Access Control on or off -> Press [Continue] button to proceed through the warning prompt -> Remove checkmark from "Use User Access Control (UAC) to help protect your computer” option -> Press [OK] -> Reboot PC

Once UAC has been disabled, you can proceed to upgrade VT Trader to version 1.9.3. You may re-enable the UAC feature in Windows Vista once VT Trader has been successfully upgraded. You’ll need to reboot your PC once more for this change to take effect.

New Features:

• Summary by Accounts Window -> new column “Lots (hedged)” added; displays the sum total of hedged lots respective to the trade direction currently open in the specified trading instrument


• Pending Orders Window -> new column “Date/Time (LMod)” added; displays the date/time at which the respective pending order was last modified by the user and the modification confirmed by the broker

Feature Improvements:

• "Get Message Timeout(s)" option in Navigator Window>Options Bookmark>Properties>General>General Properties>Communication Bookmark has decreased its fastest response time by 0.5 seconds; this means that incoming price quotes will be received more frequently using the same "Faster Response, Higher Bandwidth" setting when compared to previous VT Trader builds


• Summary by Accounts Window -> "Lot" column renamed to "Lots (total)"


• Summary by Accounts Window -> "NH" column renamed to "Lots (non-hedged)"


• Pending Orders Window -> "Time" column renamed to "Date/Time (Req)"


• Delete confirmation added to Navigator Window>Tools>"Delete Cached Patterns Data" option


• Delete confirmation added to Navigator Window>tools>"Delete Cached History Data" option


• ALL standard indicators included in VT Trader received updates; Updates include various combinations of updated and/or new input/output variables, Notes revisions, code revisions, and displaying output variables' values in the indicator's chart label by default
