Current Release Notes - VT Trader 1.8.6

- VT Trader preserves the users desktops and custom settings while performing an update; VT Trader remains in the same 'state' once the update has been completed as it was previous to the update; however, please note that the DA and Group settings in the Accounts Information Window *must be* reset by the user - these values are *not* preserved during the upgrade.
- Open Positions Window>Contextual Menu>Closed Selected option implemented; The user can now select multiple rows (positions) inside the Open Positions Window simultaneously by holding down the CTRL key while making row selections with the mouse cursor. Once the desired rows (positions) have been selected, "Close Selected" becomes available from the contextual menu thereby allowing the user to close all selected with one 'Close' action.
- All Trading Windows (Dealing Rates (Advanced), Account(s) Information, Open Positions, Closed Positions, Pending Orders, and Summary By Accounts) columns are now drag-n-drop enabled; This allows the user to rearrange the order of the columns in any given trading window by simply selecting the column and dragging it to its new location within the window using the mouse cursor. The order of the trading window(s)' columns can also be changed by using new [Up] and [Down] buttons located in the Cell Alignment Bookmark or each window's Properties Window.
- Forex Resources mega-feature added; The 'Forex Resources' feature is actually a collection of smaller features bundled into new menus within VT Trader; A new top-level folder in Navigator Window>Trading Bookmark called 'Forex Resources' has been created along with a new Navigator Window>Tools>Forex Resources menu; Inside these menus the user has access to the original Reuters News and News Windows as well as 3 new tools/features: Market Analysis Window, Pip Calculator, and Currency Calculator; The Market Analysis Window contains Forex market highlights for the current week and previous weeks as well as accompanying "expert" commentary analyzing current market activity; The Pip Calculator allows the user to determine the value of 1 pip respective to a selected currency pair in a user-defined currency; The Currency Calculator allows the user to convert a user-defined amount of one currency into the value of another currency.
- New 'Add Indicator' selection window implemented which can be accessed via Chart Window>Contextual Menu>Add Indicator; HThis new selection window allows the user to choose from various indicator categories to be used to populate this window; the categories are: All Indicators, Frequently Used Indicators, QuickList Indicators, VT Trader Indicators, and Custom Indicators; the user can select their required indicator, read its notes, and then 'Add' the indicator to their chart.
- New 'Add Trading System' selection window implemented which can be accessed via Chart Window>Contextual Menu>Add Trading System; This new selection window allows the user to choose from various trading system categories to be used to populate this window; the categories are: All Trading Systems, Frequently Used Trading Systems, QuickList Trading Systems, VT Trader Trading Systems, and Custom Trading Systems; the user can select their required trading system, read its notes, and then 'Add' the trading system to their chart.
- Linear Regression Line tool can now use Heiken-Ashi candlestick data; Selection can be made from the Calc Properties Bookmark of the tool's properties window.

- Standard Deviation Channel tool can now use Heiken-Ashi candlestick data; Selection can be made from the Calc Properties Bookmark of the tool's properties window
- Standard Error Channel tool can now use Heiken-Ashi candlestick data; Selection can be made from the Calc Properties Bookmark of the tool's properties window.

- Raff Regression Channel tool can now use Heiken-Ashi candlestick data; Selection can be made from the Calc Properties Bookmark of the tool's properties window.

- Navigator Window>Tools>Delete All Cached History Data option added; Allows the user to empty (delete) all cached chart data contained in the C:Program FilesVTtraderHistoryCache folder.
- Navigator Window>Options Bookmark>Properties>General>General Properties>General Boomark>Display Daily Interest Updated Message option added; Enabled by default, but if disabled, the daily 'Interest has been updated' dialog window displayed by VT Trader at the daily closing rollover time will not be shown.
- "DisableUpdate" option included in VTTrader.ini file in 'common' section; default is N (No); Allows the user to disable the auto-update checking performed by VT Trader. It should be noted, however, that if this option is set to Y (Yes) the user will receive no message once a new version of VT Trader becomes available nor will the user be able to upgrade VT Trader until this option is reset to N (No).

- PAM Order submission logic has been improved; A pre-submission check performed by VT Trader verifies that all selected accounts meet the minimum lot size requirement prior to sending those orders to the broker's trading server
- Chart Layers -> Indicators now hides *all* parts of the indicator(s) attached to the chart
- Chart Layers -> Trading Systems now hides *all* parts of the trading system(s) attached to the chart
- Chart Window>Contextual Menu>some menu options have changed and 2 new menu options added... The section of the contextual menu that has been modified can be viewed below:

- VT Trader update procedure now handled internally by VT Trader rather than a separate updater application inside the VTTrader program directory; the update procedure itself has not been changed
- Closed Positions Window's Total row shows N/A for calculated column data when positions displayed in the window have different base currencies
- Order Placement Windows (Market Order & Entry Order) has increased width for Amount/Equity columns and auto-widens AcctN column based on longest account name
- Activity Log -> Font color for selected row(s) has been made to be more 'eye-friendly'
- Order Placement Window -> Font color for selected account(s) has been made to be more 'eye-friendly'
- Copy Prices Tool date column format changed to month/day/year
