Exporting an Environment File
How do I save my settings in VT Trader?
To save settings within VT Trader, you would save what is called an Environment file. The vtenv (file extension) will save all your current settings for the platform including the current and previous desktop layouts, custom indicators and systems, as well as current chart settings.
This is performed by going to the Navigator window and clicking on the File>Export Environment option. This will bring up a window where you should select which aspects of VT Trader to save and at the bottom, which file to which to save this information. This file can then be used to File>Import Environment where you can select what to import and how duplicate windows should be treated.
